3. Automatic Hardware Locking Protocol

To ensure maximum security and protect your digital identity, Tapifi implements a Standard Locking Protocol for all issued hardware:

• Mandatory Read-Only State Unlike generic NFC tags, all Tapifi chips are automatically and permanently locked after their initial activation.

• Purpose of Locking This is not an optional feature but a core security measure. Locking the chip prevents third parties from tampering with your physical device, overwriting your data, or redirecting your Tapifi chip to a malicious URL.

• Permanent Nature Once a Tapifi chip is activated and locked, it becomes Read-Only. It cannot be re-formatted or re-linked to a different account. This ensures that your physical card remains a secure bridge to your verified profile.

Users are strictly prohibited from attempting to bypass hardware security, impersonating others, or using Tapifi for fraudulent activities.

The Tapifi brand, software, and proprietary NFC initialization processes are the exclusive property of Tapifi.

Tapifi is not responsible for the physical loss, theft, or intentional destruction of your NFC hardware. Our liability is limited to the functionality of the digital service as described.

Your data is protected under our Privacy Policy. We do not read your personal contact lists; we only facilitate the saving of your profile to others.

9. Termination

Violation of these Terms may result in the immediate suspension of your digital profile.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
